NEW WICKED CAS 370Z CORNER SUB BOX MAGIC BOX STEALTH TRUNK SUBWOOFER ENCLOSURE.

We have been receiving a lot of calls from members and other 370z owners to make an enclosure that sits in the corner of the trunk and takes up as little room as possible. We got a member here drop off their car as a donor to come up with a corner enclosure. For those not familier with it, we have a similar product that has been very popular with the 350Z owners.

I wanted to start a thread not only to tell you all we will be working on this enclosure with in the next 2 weeks, but also find out what suggestions you may all have, or would like to see.

Also wanted to see what the interest level will be... Of course we will have an introductory special once the box and details are finalized.

Awesome! Been waiting for something like this. What size speakers are you making it for? Will the price be similar to the 350z version?

Pricing should be in line with our other similar Magix Boxes. You will be able to use mainstream sub like JL W0 or W1... Depending on the room available possibly other subs as well. 8" or 10" is what will most likely be the size.

looks good.. any enclosure that allows me to keep the spare is a plus.
I'll wait on this... I'm in between your guy's spare tire box or this one.

How many of you have and or use the hatch area sun shade cover.
There are 2 clips on the hatch to hold the cover in place. We are trying to determine weather we should eliminate this clip on the drivers side, it seems to realy hinder the subwoofer enclosure design...

I understand this sun shade is only offered or comes with toutring models... And is expensive to buy from dealer...

Yes or No on sun shade being removed.

I don't use the sun shade and would have no problem removing the clip.

One on each side would be nice.......

In for updates.

Ok here is what I found.

Touring models come with hatch cover / sun shade.
Just about all models have the hook on the hatch.
Some sport models also have the side trims that accomodate the hatch cover.

10" enclosure will accomodate JL AUDIO 10wx 10w0 10w1 and most importantly 10w3v3

We will be making provisions on the enclosure to keep the hook in place... This way no need to take the clip off... However the hatch cover, most likely, will not work with the enclosure installed.

This looks really good and will have to be on my purchase list.

I do not have a a cover and if the enclosure will not work with it on I see no point in having that dimple in the box........ seems pointless to me.

Do you have the hook on the hatch? From what I understand most models have it. Please let me know.
If so you will not need to take the hook off and have a blank hole on the hatch cover.

i would say forget the hook, if they want to use the cover get the other box...i would make the other box with the option of a 10, for the guys that don't want much bass...12, and the 13 you already use in it...

We have a very nice looking box that is in the works, Everyone will be happy.

Yeah that's making me horny, no lie...

I believe touring or 2011 or 2012 (2012 for sure)+ have the hatch hooks. Mine is a sports 2012 with the hooks on the hatch.

Beautiful! Is it easily removeable? How will it sound compared to your other box with the 13.5? Just need some red accents to match the 40th interior.

I have a 2012 NISMO and it also came with the hooks for the cover. I even went as far as to purchas the cover and am using said cover. I recently bought a sub system from Wicked (kudos by the way... it SLAMS!) and I am a firm believer... out of sight, out of mind. Even with tinted windows, I would still use the cover. The cover would be removed for showing, of course.

Any idea on internal volume size/amount?

That looks amazing! A great option for those already with full sized subs.

Crap. You would have to post this between paychecks. Will there be a discount for members after this initial 5 people? I know you did that for the other under carpet box.

You might want to get in this deal, as the disocunt after will not be nearly as good. It will be about 3-4 weeks before you get charged the rest of the funds anyways... Plenty of time...
