Because of the corrugated plastic platform under the carpet, the spare is going to be tough to get to. I haven't installed mine yet, but I am considering cutting the plastic, or scoring it so that it bends.
I may also just secure the box with velcro or something, so I can take it out when needed. It definitely isn't as easy as flipping the carpet up, as the plastic platform goes all the way across. Haven't figured it out just yet. Last edited by vermithrax; 08-03-2012 at 10:46 AM. |
