Nissan 370Z Forum  

Have a few questions regarding speakers/amp..

While I don't have any first-hand experience with them, I see the Polk components recommended on here quite a bit as a good budget set. The general recommendation is to

While I don't have any first-hand experience with them, I see the Polk components recommended on here quite a bit as a good budget set. The general recommendation is to get the db's if you plan to run them off of HU power, MM's if you plan to amp them. If you are going to get an amp now and think you might want a sub later, I would get a 4 or 5 channel amp.

I have had the same JL PowerWedge setup in my last 3 cars... i am absolutely sold on their products and reliability.

And once you have the thump in the trunk, you may not need the speakers... just saying.
