Before you get a test meter... I would look to see if the fuse is blown on the power wire that feeds the amp. If you went to a decent

Before you get a test meter... I would look to see if the fuse is blown on the power wire that feeds the amp. If you went to a decent install place, they should have installed an in-line fuse no less than a foot away from the positive terminal of the battery.
