09 has no ability to stream music via bluetooth unless you have the navigation software upgraded to the latest ver. like in 2010 and newer.

There's a thread somewhere on how to buy the software lic and have the dealer install it or just make an appointment with your local dealer for them to upgrade it. It's not cheap though

I can already imagine. Looks like I will be chilling instead. Not paying more then 100 bones just to listen to music.

Default Bluetooth audio with 2012 nav

I have the same question with 2012 navigation. I have my galaxy nexus Bluetooth audio turned on but how do you stream the audio or make it show up as a source? I'm a noob when it comes to this.

Check out the Owners Manual in the 2010 Model

Page 4-56 explains how to set it up.

For 2011, 2012 models the page # maybe different.

I noticed that the manual depicted a usb flash drive going into the jack located above the red yellow and white jacks but I it seems that it won't fit when I tried it. I think it's a different kind of adapter on my Z. I don't think you can bluetooth music from the cell to the radio on an 09. WTF?! Does this have to be done the hard way of recording CD'S and Loading into flash cards drives only?

I mentioned I your other thread that you can get a simple Radio Shack cable to plug into those red and white jacks (which are the Aux audio input) or if you have an iPhone, use the special Nissan cable to plug in the iPhone.

Personally, I just bought a used classic iPod and sync all my music to it using a special iTunes setup. If they come out with a >64GB iPod Touch, I'll buy that and have it sync with iCloud when I park on the carport

Hey guys! Wondering if anyone has recently taken the dealer up on the upgrade for an '09 and if so, how much was it?

There must be a way to do this ourselves?

Edit - ignore this post, found the answer.
