Anyone have feedback on well it works on the 370? |
don't have pics but my 8500 x50 is mounted using suction cups on the windshield to the right of the 3 gauges (oil temp, volt, time). :o
however, i'd love to do a proper mounting and get the mute button installed as one of the buttons on the console inbetween the seats, since i can't reach the button where the power plug is under the glove box. |
just suction cupped right under the gentex

It looks like just to the driver's side of the RVM is where it's going to end up. |

Heres mine. I'd have it closer to the mirror, but my toll tag is there, and the suction cups would come loose when it was cold during winter. Also, it got in the way of my driver's side visor (which I use often) if I put it to the left of the rear view mirror. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7192/6...8ceff790_b.jpg |

Meh, broke down and bought a Blendmount since everyone says the RVM doesn't vibrate bad with it. Might just affix the V1 better to its mount.
|
Has anyone tried the visor mount? It seems like a more discreet location.

I use the rear view mirror mount. Works great. No rattle or vibration issues. And it gets power from the rear view mirror.
