Whether or not people are new to car audio does not matter at all they deserve to be properly informed. If I was researching something new I would much rather someone explain to me how it really is rather than try and dumb the subject matter down for me.
As for JL I would like to see some proof that what you say is fact. I am in no way saying JL is the end all of car audio as I know that it is not. However I do think that it is priced competitively to other mainstream brands and their target demographic which is not the diy crowd. Also it looks mighty unprofessional to bash any car audio manufacturer on your professional website.
