Nice website, are those all your projects posted there? Or are there more? the audio 101 was a good info page as well. :tiphat:

Just some advice, maybe you can post all the equipment used for each build in the album of that build.

Glad to see AK got your vendor status updated

Ya not sure what happened with that.

Two things....First an amp gain is not a "second volume control" in the least. It is used to match the signal input level. Second the whole thing about JL being over priced is bull. A few of the brands you mentioned cost a good bit more than JL product especially when dealing with subwoofers.

other than that looks fine.

Yes yes it has been brought up about the gain knob. Remember that info is for new people.

The JL is a fact lots of installers agree with me on the fact that they are priced higher than what you get. There are other brands that can do even better than the JL for equal or less money.

BigNate 02-18-2012 06:09 PM

Whether or not people are new to car audio does not matter at all they deserve to be properly informed. If I was researching something new I would much rather someone explain to me how it really is rather than try and dumb the subject matter down for me.

As for JL I would like to see some proof that what you say is fact. I am in no way saying JL is the end all of car audio as I know that it is not. However I do think that it is priced competitively to other mainstream brands and their target demographic which is not the diy crowd.

Also it looks mighty unprofessional to bash any car audio manufacturer on your professional website.

I think he means the set-up is kind of basic (background) (pages), its missing side bar navigation, lacks animation, looks like its been put together like over nite (no offense). I think a guy like you who has done so many installs deserves a better webpage. I think thats wat Kenchan is getting at.

Suggestions: maybe pics of yourself (other than in the album, maybe on front page, videos?), making the homepage more welcoming, back ground pic, animations. colors.

Just a thought. :tiphat:

Yah, I think add some more artistic design.

bigaudiofanat 02-18-2012 07:49 PM

Ya, I am not trying to get to much animation right now. However I will be changing the background soon and front page.
