Send me a PM. I just completed my regulator door panel removal and reinstall a few weeks ago. Used about 5 sheets of Dynamat to deaden the inner exterior skins. Just able to hook the power back up this past week to where I can check for proper window operation and such, and can say that all is 100%.
Yes, you have to drill out the 2 rivets that attach the regulator panel to the window tracks. Somewhat tricky to re-rivet, but not really brain surgery...Might be close depending on your expertise with working on "things." Do think this is an option to just laying the sheets over the panel. Pat |
