All I'm saying is you'll still see more of a improvement going with a new HU rather than going with new speakers, since the factory amp is such crap. Also, I just noticed you randomly bumped a year old thread that's not even yours.....Why lol. DId you have a question?

I agree replace the HU first. My new Sony HU came with a 7 band EQ which is way better than the stock bass, treble adjustments. Plus more watts to power the speakers so it sounds cleaner even at low volumes.
