Can you or cant you with the Bose system

My assumption is that the Bose amp is calibrated to run at approx 4v since it is used with just the stock HU. Probably uses higher voltage since there is

My assumption is that the Bose amp is calibrated to run at approx
4v since it is used with just the stock HU. Probably uses higher voltage since there is no built in amp in the radio (maximizes sound quality).

With adding in a video head unit, won't you need a different faceplate than the normal Metra/Scoshe ones we use on base models... Is there one out there?
