I did some research and it seems that while they will work together, because the XM sats are stationary and the Sirius are orbital, the reception won't be as good by interchanging them. I remember getting some mild dropout on my trailblazer too. I'll probably take the chance though and if it is really bad I'll just switch to a Sirius tuner for my eventual aftermarket radio. Only issue is the features aren't as good and it costs more (for Pioneer at least).
