Removing Radio? - Bose w/o Nav (Touring w/o Nav)
Looking at removing (not replacing) my stock radio unit and going without audio at all. My car came as Touring w/o Nav (so it has the Bose radio setup, but a cubby in place of the nav screen). The radio and the climate controls (which I don't want to lose at this time) seem to share a faceplate.
Has anyone done a downgrade of this before, maybe to replace the radio with an aftermarket? Can you get the faceplate from Nissan for the the base model (just faceplate for the AC controls, leaving a double-din open area above), and swap it in easily? |
