You may be right but I think in such a small area the distance for the sound to reflex back is going to be a similar distance thus not making a huge difference. I may be wrong but it was explained to me that it is not always the direction you face your subs it is the distance away that they are. Which has to do with wave length response.

Either way your car is going to be loud! I have 1 10" in my gf's 3 row durango with all the settings turned down and it is too loud for me. I went with the upfire for the simple fact that I do use my car for groceries or what ever I may be carrying and I just like the idea of not worrying about something sliding into the woofer with or with out a grill on the woofer.
