Volume issues with aftermarket installation

I've got a 9960 and it blasts. I usually run the volume at between 18-20 with the windows shut. Even lower if needed. I installed aftermarket speakers, but that shouldn't

I usually run the volume at between 18-20 with the windows shut. Even lower if needed. I installed aftermarket speakers, but that shouldn't make that much of a difference. I'm guessing that something is hooked up incorrectly.
