What about a new head unit? If I get one of those put in, can whoever installs it make the steering wheel controls work with it? I've seen those bluetooth

If I get one of those put in, can whoever installs it make the steering wheel controls work with it? I've seen those bluetooth audio gateway things, but the whole reason I want to do bluetooth is to stop using that audio cable and be able to use my steering wheel buttons.
