Default Stock HU Outputs

I've searched through the forum but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for.

I have an 09 370z Touring that I just bought. I like the sound of the factory audio for the most part but want to put my amb/sub in the trunk.

Does the stock HU have RCA out or an Ignition wire? If so this will be very straight forward, but if I recall in my old 350z it was not that easy.

Any help or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

No stock HU will have RCA outs. You can just add on with a ReQ or a Audio Control LC2i. This has come up many times.

Sorry, I didn't see them when I was searching. Are these easy to hook up? Can you point me to a how-to or a post you've found detailing installation?

Thanks in advance!

It's pretty simple to wire up. The speaker level inputs go in from your HU and RCA level outputs go out to your amp(s).

Thanks!

Are there certain wires I should be tapping off of or connecting to from the HU? I'm kinda newb to the whole process to be honest.

Its not unless you have a diagram which there are. However for the newb I would recommend just getting an aftermarket head unit with rca's

Well I'm not totally newb, I understand how to wire things up and setup my amp/sub. Just need to know what wires to tap into from the HU to the line input on the LC2i. I already ordered one from Crutchfield, so all I need is the diagram for my stock HU.

Wonder if anyone has one here?
