Default Component Speakers - Where does the Crossover go??

Quick question as I'm going to start my audio install over the weekend. I purchased the Polk DB6501 Component speakers...my question is where does the actual Crossover go?

Do you mount it somewhere (under the seat???In the door speaker hole???)
Pics would be greatly appreciated!!

if i was to do it, i would wire up new wires directly from the HU to the side kickpanel under the dash. (driver side above fuse box, passenger side lower right of glove box) from there split the tweeter and woofer wires.

also check out what 90ST and Big recommends as they've actuallly done the install.

ill do mine when im ready to swap out the HU in a yr or so.

Kick panels on both sides. Easy place to mount them and easy access in case you want to change the connections (mine has 3 different connections).

yah, i would use mounting tape or zip tie to another harness or anywhere that i can loop it. i dont think screwing it onto the metal panel is necessary either.

that is almost exactly where i put mine. i hid my crossover right beneath the kickpanel (below the fuse box). fits perfectly, and easily accessible if i need to make any changes
