Jayl,

I just bought my Z and there is a lot of road noise. I thought about doing this. I am curious what % of the sound do you think you cut out just doing the back? Does it make a big difference?

Thanks
Keith

It makes a decent amount of difference if you are going to keep the car for a long time I say go for it!!

Awesome thanks man. I completely agree on the sports car thing but when I can't hear the person I'm sitting next to that's no good. How many sq ft did you need?

Heres what I used:
Amazon.com: Dynamat 10455 Xtreme Bulk Pack 9 Sheets: Automotive

I could have used it all up... but I ended up saving 2 sheets, 1 for each door. I could have used all of it for the trunk / rear speaker's location...

I have used dynamat and hush mat, I have seen no real difference other than the dynamat was a tad thicker than hush mat. If you are really after getting your interior quiet. Look at adding over top of either of these like a foam to help keep noise out. The dynamat's are usually for more rattles than sound however both ways will work.
