I have two cars with the Kenwood HU. One has the volume knob and since it's in the Z, it also has a volume control in the steering wheel. The other unit has the larger screen and no volume knob, but it doesn't have any radio control in the steering wheel so you have to use the buttons to control volume.
I think I should swap the units between the cars, but I'm too lazy. Back to your question...as long as you can adjust your volume via your steering wheel controls, the larger screen would work great. If you don't like using your streering wheel controls or don't have any, I would definitely go with the HU with the volume knob. My $0.02 |
