Amp installation question

Interesting thread, I'm getting spec's from in installer right now replacing my stock subs and adding an amp. Thinking about going with two 8" Alpines in a custom enclosure, not sure on the amp yet, but want something I can display that looks cool.

YES, something EXACTLY like that! Thanks Juleous. What size amp did you use and what model of Alpines are those, their Awesome!

The amp there is a HiFonics Brutus BRZ1700, this thing is 1ohm stable pumping 1700 watts rms. I only have it running at two ohms with the gains turned down it's around 900 watts rms. The amp doesn't get even the slightest bit warm at this level, I want to throw some 12's in there and push them at 1700 but I think the stock electrical system won't handle that load.

If I ever upgrade the alternator, I will move to the 12's and run One Ohm
