Garmin Phone Mount

hey guys, i've always wanted a nice sturdy mount for my car, that doesn't keep shaking or falling, at the same time to be reasonably priced.

first, i've got this idea from lifehacker .com, and i thought i would try it out. i used a garmin mount, that i stuck onto my phone case with 3m double tape.

the good thing about this, is you can take it form one car to another, and since i'm using a case for my phone, it has a hole for the camera, so i can also take videos.

anyways, here are the pics...

here's the phone with the case

Standard Garmin Mount

phone + case from the outside...notice i stuck the thing further away from the camera, because if it was any closer, part of the mount will show up in the picture.

btw, i bought all my parts from ebay.. which costed me less than $10

Looks great, now with the case sealed to the clip do you have to remove the phone from the case every time you exit the car?

i chose this case, because it's very easy to remove the phone... even when i get a call, i just take it off, and then snap it back on

Thank you, but after using it for a while I must say its a little difficult to unmount once u get a phone call...I'll try n modify the case so its easier to get the phone off.
