the bose acoustic EQ is a very werd program. on my G35C's bose system it even auto-compensates if you give it too much signal.

i might even suggest you try different speakers with adjustable crossover rather than playing with signal processing...at the end your output volume could suffer.

No it won't. I will be eliminating the Bose amplifier and speakers by tapping into the harness before the Bose amp and replacing all of the speakers and doing my own amplification. I just need to make sure that whatever processor I choose can accept the differentially balanced outputs of the Bose HU.
