Default Pioneer HU & PAC SWI-PS

I have an AVH-P4200DVD installed with the PAC SWI-PS and the only control I do not have is my radio presets. The instructions for the PAC say some HUs may not have this available. So, I am wondering if anyone has this specific setup or any Pioneer HU and not have preset controls.

I reset and re-programmed the PAC several times with no success. I just want to see if anyone else out there has this issue.

It's not a deal breaker by any means, but it does seem basic that this works.

I know on my Kenwood unit, to control the presets, I have to change a setting on the HU. It has "Auto1, Auto2 and Manual" scan modes. I think I have it set to Auto2 to use the presets. If I'm remembering correctly, Auto1 is basically scan and Manual just goes to the next available station. I don't know if the same thing is true for the Pioneer.

When you use the up and down button on the steering wheel, does anything happen?

It tunes one step at a time. If I hold it, it seeks.
