Crappy windows media player for trying to keep track of music. Illegal sharing music that expires on the other player in what 10 days or something? And who are you going to share with? What head unit actually supports control over the zune? Na Ill pass

Latest version of Zune download service lets you keep up to 10 tracks a month, forever. Adapters for Zune/iPod interface integration have already been demonstrated and are being rolled out as we speak. Apple's marketing department is the best in the business. Manufacturers (Nissan for example) have erred in creating iPod-only interfaces. Manufacturers (Nissan's 2010 370Z has changed the interface to USB) have seen the light. The iPod is not the only game in town any more.
