Incoming phone #s not displayed- Touring Bluetooth/iPhone 4

I don't have this issue, but then again I rarely look down at the stereo screen anymore. I have a phone mount just to the right of my gauge cluster

I have a phone mount just to the right of my gauge cluster and I can quickly see the name of the caller instead. Could always be something with the I4. Try pairing your old phone and see if it's still displaying numbers with it again.
