i tried plugging in my friend's aux cable into my HU and ipod, i could only hear the left side of my speakers. However, when i use headphones the ipod

Default aux cable problem

i tried plugging in my friend's aux cable into my HU and ipod, i could only hear the left side of my speakers. However, when i use headphones the ipod is fine. Any idea what could be the problem?

same thing happened to me. cable only played one side. cable was about six months old. bought a new one all is fine. can't wait until my bluetooth hu comes in.

Agree with buying new cable. Get a nice one that is braided from radio shack for about 20 bucks should last longer than the cheap ones.
