Will this work with a pioneer avh-p6300bt?
|
Yes it will

Will the ASWC-1 work with the Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX?
|
Can I throw out an alternative to the ASWC? Maestro SW. You program it online according to whatever headunit and you can program every button (can program each button to have two functions also.)

Anybody else have thermal issues with these? I just installed my ASWC last week and everything works fine at room temp but not when it gets hot.
Btw, I had to call tech support multiple times to get mine programmed. They're absolutely worthless and they got an attitude with me :shakes head: - just thought I'd throw that out there... Anyways, the ASWC won't work when I first get off work and my Z has been sitting in the hot parking lot/sun all day. But after I turn on the AC and get about half way home it will start working again. I live in Ohio, so I wouldn't think that this should be an issue since there are plenty of ASWC users out west where it gets a lot hotter there then it does here. Any thoughts? |
This should help some people |
what's the difference between the aswc and the aswc-1? thanks

This worked for me. Took several times to work as the last step never fully worked. Not sure what I did differently to make it finally worked but I'm happy it did. I appreciate the help! |

Lol glad I could help by making that.

just setup the ASWC in my 370z with an android head unit.
had to do the full manual setup, but everything works including the phone buttons without modifying the wiring in the trunk area. |

THANK YOU for posting this.. I spent the better part of a day messing around with this on my 2014. Not only were the pins wrong in the instructions, so were the steps to program. Great video!

I got mine working in April after working thru problems with my head unit finding it (Parrot Asteroid Smart). Tried auto program, then manual and would get the correct number of flashes, but the HU wouldn't see it. Called Axxess and after convincing them it was current version of firmware, hooked up correctly per their instructions, etc. etc. they said I should try switching the 2 steering wheel control wires (as someone had mentioned in an earlier post). Rather than resolder, I switched the pins after which it auto programmed and HU found it. Yeah!
Everything is great until this weekend when it was parked in the sun on a 90+ degree day. None of my buttons worked when I got in the car, but remembered Loges post about thermal issues. Unfortunately, tried them several times during the 3 hour drive home, but no joy. Guess I get to pull the console apart once more.:ugh: Kind of wish I had tried the Maestro... |
