Default HTC TP 2 (Sprint) Fix to work with 2010 Nissan Bluetooth

After contacting Nissan Service and Tech Support as well as Sprint, no one had any answers... My non-techy husband figured it all out...

Here are the steps to get it to work:

1. On phone, Open bluetooth
2. Choose left tab (settings)
3. Click on Advanced and choose Audio
4. Check the box "Play system sounds on remote handsfree device"
5. Click Done
6. Go to right tab (tools) and click on Networking Manager
7. Choose Create a Private Network and click continue
8. If the car is not listed, go to Menu, Show all devices (also enable the bluetooth in the car and say Add Phone)
9. Once the car shows up, choose it and it should give you the option to input the 1234 code...then you will be paired...

Hope this helps...

Thumbs up Unbelievable!!!

Thank you sooooo much! I have been looking for this answer for a long time. I almost wore out Google. Do you have any idea how many people in other forums are still looking to find this one? WOW!

Just thought you should know that you have made one person very happy.

Default Glad to be of assistance...

I am glad it worked...

I know there is an HTC forum with very recent posts and I tried to get an account so that I can share the info but it would not go through. If you are aware of others and are able to access the forums, please share the info...
