Audio Control EQTs

I am just about to take delivery of a 2007 Enthusiast (throw rotten lettuce here

).

I have a few things left over from a previous system; two JL 10W6s, Orion 4x75 amp (the black series that is similar to the red HCCAs) and two Audio Control EQTs (30 band mono equilizers).

My goal is high sound quality, but a little sub doesn't hurt. I anticipate getting a very nice quality HU and nice component set (in my day 10+ years ago MB Quart was a real nice brand).

With this general concept, do you think I would gain much in sound quality by having the EQTs or would it be better to sell them and but the money toward other components.

Todays market place there is tons of SQ companies out there. Off the top of my head image dynamics, audison "amps", hybrid audio, focal, and morel.

It all depends on how big your wallet or credit card is and how serious you want to go.

I agree, the quality is there if you are willing to spend for it.

Do you think EQTs are a strong component for SQ or do they offer a more minimal advantage?

check 3fast4law Feb/10 post on this web site. He installed a Audio Controlled EQ with line driver.
