What's the easiest way to run new speaker wire to the door speakers? I looked and there is a goofy connector attaching the harness to the door?!

Installing new door speakers
What's the easiest way to run new speaker wire to the door speakers? I looked and there is a goofy connector attaching the harness to the door?!
