Default Really Cheap Tweeter Brackets

So I finally finished my install a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just getting around to posting up remaining topics and pics. I'll do another post and link in all previous posts.

So here is a cheap way to do your tweeter brackets. Some might call this redneck, but what the hell...I do live in Arkansas! I simply used the cardboard box material that the component speakers came in, as they were very thin and sturdy; and I was also tired of going out and looking for materials here and there.

There is an even cheaper way just cut out the factory speaker from its bracket and use that one. It is what I did. Look good are you going to paint them?

Not a good idea if you want to put the stockies back in when trading in or selling the car.

I really hadn't considered painting them, but now that you mention it, I probably should because if you look dead on the tweeters with some light, the color of the cardboard definitely shows thru the covers.
