iPhone video trouble with Kenwood DNX5140

Yea...I butchered that link...try this one. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/...n%20Manual.pdf I have my ipod/iphone in the glove department in front of the passenger seat. I don't have any connection issues with it there.
