Last night I removed the large foam piece (and broke it) behind/below the silver cross member. No room for the amp unless it rests on-top of the side airbag sensor

Last night I removed the large foam piece (and broke it) behind/below the silver cross member. No room for the amp unless it rests on-top of the side airbag sensor (I'd rather not). I guess I will have to mount behind the driver’s seat in the shelf area. Should the amp be mounted vertically? And will the plastic hold the amps weight?
