Nifty City Apple Car play

Anyone with the Nifty City Apple Car play module know if the Ecutek App is compatible? I’m wanting to display Ecutek gauge display on Nav screen along with other CarPlay features.

Have you tried hitting the manufacturer up on their Instagram or you might try the YouTuber DannyZ bc I believe he is boosted and has installed the module. I am definitely on the fence with this mod - bc of the price and wondering if it's worth it vs just looking at my iphone directly for items. I mostly would use it for Waze - not sure if you gain the use of Siri for answering text messages or not.

It will not work with the Ecutek application. Nifty city wants an additional $200 to get it to work. I hear the Aucar screens work with Ecutek no problem.

IIRC Aucar and Nifty city are the same.

I think they are talking about the module that converts the OEM nav screen to CarPlay. I have the Tesla style screen which is what Danny Z has installed. And NIFTYCITY and AUCAR are basically the same for that from what I can tell.
