A midbass driver in a component set and a subwoofer are not at all the same. the frequency response of a midbass driver can go up to 10KHz, these go to 300Hz, they are just totally different, you wouldn't put this in a door because it's a subwoofer and prefers a sealed enclosure. I think you would be completely amazed by the sound of these. 3 of these can easily be mistaken for a 10" woofer...
