Bose non-nav 2014. Muting while on a call.

Non-nav w/ Bose stock setup...is there a way to mute a call without using the speech reco? If I double click the steering wheel button for voice command, I get the beep then say "mute on" or "mute off" but it takes sooo long.



Is there a better way?
