Default Airbag light and engine service after h/unit install

Well after a long wait finally got my head unit installed new kenwood 893s and of course problems. Went with idatalink maestro and per kenwood there is firmware issues with the idatalink and the unit itself. Anyway after the install got the car home noticed only when the car is powered on not running my airbag light is on then goes off after about 10 seconds. The engine service sign light comes on stays on, but when car is started and running it goes away. Any thoughts do I need to reset Ecu?
