Smile 2011 Red 370z Car Audio Build

Many thanks to bigaudiofanat for the awesome job he has done. He went back and forth for weeks answering any audio related questions I had.

This thread is worthless without pictures so let's get to work:

The stuff

Removal of stock stereo head unit

Alpine CDE-W265BT Double Din installed

Microphone Installation

Installing the JL Audio C3-650 speakers

The stock tweeter

New tweeter installed

Running wires to the JL Audio XD500/3v2

JL 10W0v3 10”

bigaudiofanat cheesing it

As you can see it's a job well done and I highly recommend bigaudiofanat for your installation if you are considering going with aftermarket audio. This guy went out of his way while it was snowing to get me back on the New Jersey Turnpike when my GPS started tripping out. Thanks once again for everything bud!

Question on the amp install: that looks to be behind the driver or passenger seat on the floor. How did you wind up securing the amplifier?

I've been considering adding an amp and subwoofer, and would want to install in the same location...

Passenger seat. The wires are the only thing securing the amp. If I pull the amp it moves forward 2-3 inches max.

You may want to try some sticky-back Velcro on the bottom. It will secure it quite nicely.

I didn't buy any dash kit but I was surprised at how good the fitment is.
The Alpine CDE-W265BT does not stick out like some of those head units you will see posted on here. I guess it all depends on the head unit.

Good morning, the amps actually get held in place by the bottom of the seat once it is rolled back into place. Another way to do it is add a 1/2 piece of plywood to the dip behind the metal bump and secure to that. Yes Velcro will work as well. All are good wasy of securing the amps
