Well I spoke with a shop about the Maestro RR. He said there is no harness for it but, it requires some wire soldering to the cars main harness for the gauge inputs. Also in the Kenwood excelon 9902s you can choose what gauges you want and arrange them how ever you want. So I am going to go this route for my new set up.

I have the AVIC-8100NEX with the Maestro SW on a 2014 base. My favorite channel up/down buttons also work as press & hold for seek up/down. He also programmed the cruise control press & hold functions to work as phone controls, since my steering wheel did not come with any phone controls.

So will the voice command button on the steering wheel work as a siri button? Is the maestro sw the only thing that can do the steering wheel controls? I was looking at the alpine ilx-007 because all I want out of a head unit is carplay and I like the clean/ less buttons look. But steering wheel controls are a must, so do I have to find a HU compatible with maestro?
