Hi folks. I know the space behind the rear bar (in front of spare) is a popular one for mounting amps.
I am doing some rewiring in preparation for adding a second amp for my sub. I was a little concerned at the thought of having two amps in that space with no ventilation. Carpet would go back on and then I would add a zenclosure box that would sit on top of the amp location, effectively making it one big oven. I was wondering if anyone had overheating issues, when mounting amps in this area and placing the carpet and or box over the space. Any suggestions for increasing ventilation or should I just give up and look to mount the amps in other location? Thanks! |
