In my current apartment working on your car is frowned upon. I just ignore them and find a place with 2 spots and jack away. The first time I changed my oil one of the guys in the office came out and i thought he was about to tell me to stop working on my car. It turns out he just wanted to know more about the Z and was very chill. I asked if it's ok to work on my Z if i clean up and don't get in other peoples way.
