What is a Fair Lady Z?

I've seen pics here but have never ever seen one on the road.

That was the 350Z was marketed as in Japan. I am not sure if the 370z is aswell. Also the very first Z was called a fair lady.

All the Nissan Z cars sold in Japan are called Fairlady Z while elsewhere(include USA) are called 240z, 280z, 300zx, 350z, 370z and so on.

Japanese name for the Nissan Z sports car.

In the US (and Europe?) the cars are individually named according to the engine size (in liters x 100). Otherwise, no difference.

I did, but I feel tricked. I bought a Fair Lady, so I was looking for pictures of fair ladies...
