When you say "LED landing strip" what do you mean? I am guessing custom headlights? Usually that indicates a voltage issue or faulty LED/Wiring.

I bought cheap Pep Boys LEDs for my license plate on my Mazda... they would flash and eventually stopped working. Happened to two sets.

I had custom LED's on my old car before, and a major cause of flickering was a loose wire that didn't have a good contact. Make sure all your wires are tightly crimped/soldered first. For extra measures, use heat shrink and everything, to avoid headaches.

Faulty LEDs. I have had mine changed out several times now.

I think any time you have someone disassemble factory parts and add aftermarket features by hand you risk deterioration eventually. Your adding a lot of LEDs and wiring points in a small space.

I believe they are out of business now if I heard correctly.

Their work was done nicely, but yes they are out of business. So i have to try and fix it myself. Or does anyone know any place that does it in Vegas?

Cold solder will cause flickering under various conditions. You'll need to pull it apart and apply fresh solder to the LED wiring.
