Hi, just traded my 350z for a 370z. Bought it used for a great deal! I've never modded before, but I've read about it for years. I'm ready to start doing it bit by bit.

Welcome, but you should stay away from this place...too many good ideas. "Bit by bit" might end up happening quicker than you first thought. LOL.

I had my 350z for 2 1/2 years. I was going to get the APS twin turbo kit but my wife got pregnant then stopped working then found a job but got pregnant again. So for a while money was very tight I actually traded my car for an SUV, cuz we have 2 kids now but my wife knew it deal was a bad one and took the car back! Married the right woman! So then I started looking into turbo again and the 370z came out. At first a lot of 350z owners hated the new look but I wanted one. Didnt get one in 09 cuz it was too expensive especially with Hawaii dealerships and their "its too expensive to live here" mark ups. Found this one for $25,998 at a small ford dealership, KBB listed it at $30,000 so I had to jump on it. so now I'm thinking about the stillen supercharger. I figured go with an easier to deal with forced induction as my first one. But ultimately I want to have both a supercharger and a turbocharger at the same time. I know it can be done, I've seen a Subaru in a magazine with that setup, they took my idea.

Hawaii is great if you love the beaches and surfing/boogie boarding. As far as being in the racing scene not much is offered here. Heavy traffic, shitty highways(pot holes and speed limit is 55), no track. A petition for a track has been proposed for years here but so far nothing has happened.

Ah - that explains it. I'm sure you've found the FI section of this forum. It'll get your appetite whet. I'm going to wait out the factory warranty before I slap a blower on this car. Dunno if I can wait, though...
