I took a trip with my new 2010 370Z the other day. Only about 500 miles on the car. Tried to vary the speed a bit since it was in the break-in period but it was on the highway so I couldn't do too much.
Anyway, I averaged 69.2MPH and if the indicator is right, got 29.1 MPG. Now, for a car that isn't even broken in, traveling right at 70MPH, with the AC going, that's pretty darn good! I bet with a little break in here, a change to synthetic there, and maybe an upgraded intake (Stillen I suppose) this thing could make 30MPG on the highway. Not too shabby.

My group was averaging 32 MPG going and coming to ZdayZ. We were doing the Speed Limit.

wow that's good man. I don't think I have ever gotten more than 16-20 MPG. I tend to shift very high
and the new exhaust doesn't help either

Papo is talking about the fuel consumption calculator reading as a real time calculation while on the highway after a reset once up to speed. I bought my 370 this time last month. Its a daily driver... I routinely see even up to 33mpg on the way to work, 63 mph in 6th, cruise control set. I chuckle inwardly knowing the better I do on the freeway, is merely offsetting losses I'll see on the streets... Its a little game that plays out daily in my head... Whatever it takes to drive past just one more BP.

21 mpg? I couldn't get 21 mpg if I pushed my car down the road.

try driving on the highway for like 20-30 miles first, then go to the city and it wont lower at all. I dont think it is accurate at all. You could floor it everywhere in the city and drive a little highway mileage and it would still be over 20
