Key wont unlock, car wont start

so I cant figure out why my key fob wont work to lock/unlock, car wont start until 20-30 button pushes, even if key is in the slot, the car says No Key and n
Checked the wire under the shifter and its connected, anyone have any suggestions?

that was my first thought, replaced it with a new one and it didnt help

if its stick, it could be clutch pedal switch is loose

Check this thread...I ended up replacing the clutch switch last year and the problem is now gone completely..

Car won't start!...and it's not the Steering Lock...
