How much will this cost?

My fuel gauge is acting up and not reading correctly. It was completely out of gas the other day and the gauge said I still had about a quarter of a tank

I am bringing in my Z to a local import mechanic to have it looked at... Can anyone give me some idea of what I'll end up paying? I am really hoping this won't be a costly repair

Where did you get your fuel the last time before the gauge malfunction?

Was it Top Tier Gas?

My gauge was misreading and there was a service bulletin on it .... sender unit was faulty and was replaced under warranty

My '09 just started having a similar issue...
When my gauge gets to the last 4 dots, it last all of 30miles or so.

Mine too. When I get to a 1/4 tank I fill it up ASAP.

Yeah I am guessing it is just the sending unit
