Going by the Car and Driver specs, the R33 was tested at 0-40 2.7s, 60 5.3s, 100 12.9s, 1/4 mile 14.0 @ 104.
The 370Z 6MT has 0-40 2.7s, 60 4.9s, 100 12.1s, 1/4 mile 13.5 @ 106.
The R33 weighs 3376 lbs with 276HP and 271 lb-ft torque, while the 370Z is listed as 3373 lbs with 332 hp and 270 lb-ft torque.
So an intake (or K&N drop-ins) and HFC/Exhaust should feel pretty similar in both I would hope.
They seem like very similar vehicles, even though a torque curve / gearing is really needed to compare acceleration, the tests seem to show the 370Z pulling away.
