I can confirm that on my 7AT w/ Sport Pkg (and Touring, not that it matters for this), with VDC off you can definitely break the rear wheels loose. I did a couple of mini-burnouts in the little area between the water box (which I drove around) and the staging lights when I ran at HRP, and was able to burn up most of 1st gear while only sliding forward about 2-3 feet. I used the foot brake to hold about 3K rpm before I let it loose. That was stock sports tires at normal pressure, dry, on a really sticky surface. It's even easier on regular pavement.
